Till we meet again.

We've had a fun run with our Disneyland passes....oh the perks of living in So Cal. But now it's over. Hold on let me get my kleenex!
No really, i'm not being sarcastic. I really do LOVE the happiest place on earth! I love the rides, I love how happy everyone is, I love the cotton candy, I love how they decorate to the max for all the holidays, but I especially love seeing it through my kids eyes! I have come to realize that sometimes these outings seem like a lot of work, no actually they are a lot of work, but really, it is so worth it!
Before this disneyland annual passport filled year came along, I hadn't been for a kajillion years, but really it is soooo much better, more magical actually, if you don't mind me saying, with the little youngsters, but then again, what isn't. (besides any sit down restaurant)
And I might add, I actually love the southern california select annual passport that has an insane amount of block out dates. Really all they're doing is forbidding you to go on the days you really shouldn't...when everyone and their relatives, friends, and dogs are there. A crowded disneyland doesn't make the magical list!

We've had more fun times than we can count, & many worn out drives home, and this was no exception. The 3 youngsters were asleep before we hit the freeway, and shelbs was my picture poser....just a little too crammed to get any real beauty sleep.
It was a good run, and hopefully someday we'll get passes again! I think we're onto the zoo next...so if anyone goes to the zoo let us know.

Oh yes......We did

So, even though we are totally loving our 80 degree november weather and taking full advantage of it........
Soaking up every last bit of these rays..................
The Holidays have officially entered the Brown Home- and i'm now full fledged, giddy, excited, jumping up and down, can't wait for Christmas!
I'm sure many of you might think i'm mildly crazy, including the not so subtle employee of 7-11 who said people like me belong in a mental instituion (hey, they're the ones selling candy cane hot chocolate already- which I might add is the BEST thing EVER) But I LOVE my house decorated for christmas. It's the jolliest place ever. Plus if Disneyland can do it, so can I!!! One month just isn't long enough.
Oh, and the christmas tunes have made an appearance too:) Not 24/7 yet, but it does rear it's head from time to time.
So if you're feeling down, come on over!!!

Trick or Treat

With one undecisive mom, our cute little Brynlee ended up with quite an array of costumes this year. And if I must say so myself, she looked pretty darn adorable in each one. Our handsome train conductor wouldn't have tolerated even one costume change, with his current obsession of all things trains. Good thing he wears his overalls so well, because I have a feeling they will frequent his wardrobe rotation this winter! In an attempt to have my kids be matching characters, Brynlee started off as a little hobo that lives at the train yard.
She wasn't a big fan of the hat, so next up was a ballerina.
And for the finale and night of trick or treating, we opted for something a little warmer....a fairy maybe. She called herself a butterfly :)

It has kind of become a tradition to trick-or-treat with Carson's cute little buddy Finn (and Milla) and the boys had a blast this year!!! We had a hard time keeping up with them!
Thomas came along too, and he was the cutest dalmation! And of the 14,000 pics we took, we got NO pics of all the kids together....surprise, surprise!
And lastly.....Carson was thrilled to pass out candy when we got back. He wouldn't let anyone else help, and sat with the door open waiting for the next group. He was VERY careful to give each kid only one piece and none of his favorites. I started to notice a little stash forming behind him, and I said, "Cars, you have a whole bucket of candy, everything in here is for other kids."
"No mom, they don't like chocolate!"
Of course not, who likes chocolate.
