An Unwelcomed Visitor

We have been LOVING the warm weather we've had lately. I'm totally addicted to all things summer: warm temperatures, tan lines, ice cream frequently, summer clothes, etc. But, the warm weather also apparently brings in some very unwelcomed guests...in our yard! EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

Luckily this nasty of all nasty reptiles started in our neighbors yard, and he saw it come to ours and climbed the fence, to perform his manly duties of catching it. Now I know it's not a rattle snake, and probably perfectly harmless, but seriously there's a reason the devil is always portrayed by a snake, they are sooooo creepy!

OH MY GOODNESS!! I think I would have a heart attack if I found that in my yard! I'm getting chills just thinking about it! Glad you caught it!!

OK - that would freak me out! I don't care if it is a completely harmless snake - they are still the most horrible creatures out there. Glad you didn't find it by stepping on it or something.

GROSS and SCARY! It's so long! I would have screamed. Was that in your backyard or your parents? I'm glad you made it out alive :)

I hate snakes that makes me not want to go running and do things because I am terrified of snakes. I HATE... them but I do love summer as well.

You have any idea what kind of snake it was. One day I was walking back from the mailbox reading the mail and looked up just in time to prevent myself from stepping on a king snake. I think the whole neighborhood heard me.
