Let me preface by saying that I do realize I am the biggest nerd dedicating a post to my obsession with coupons, and an even bigger nerd that I actually came home and lined up my purchases to take a picture- all in the name of showcasing my little couponing addiction. That being said, I'm quite proud of my cheap shopping trip! All the pictured items costed me...drum roll please- a whopping $5.20. Not only that, the 2 cartons of cottage cheese made up $3 of those dollars. Gotta Love the Grocery Game. Now if that's not bargain shopping I don't know what is!

HAHAH- brooke, i'm laughing so hard right now. I can not believe that you actually lined those up and took a picture! On the other hand, I really can not believe that you only paid $5.20 for the whole lot! You are truly an inspiration!
(and by the way, yay, that you we both have blogs and can finally "catchup", you know living a whole 15 miles from one another!)
That is awesome. Are you part of some online coupon thing, or did you do this all by yourself? I am part of a company called coupon sense and I get fab deals like that as well. I save at least $200 a month on grocerys thanks to coupons. I am addicted as well.
Beth I don't think I'm quite as weird as you yet, but quickly catching up:) Actually the toilet at the table might have been just enough to put me there!

I had no idea you did the Grocery Game! How did you hear about it and how long? I love the rush of seeing how much I can save. Now that we get the redplum in Wed. Mail and in the Sunday newspaper we can use 2 of the same coupons and get double. Yipee!!
